- Description
The focus of out visit is support our Geography Curriculum. Children will visit Carding Mill Valley in the Shropshire Hills where a FSC (Field Studies Council) tutor will lead a variety of bank-side and water-based activities to engage children in the physical geography and processes of a river. Children will also experience elements of working scientifically including gathering and recording data, taking measurements, presenting data and asking relevant questions. Emphasis will be placed on revealing the intricacies of the stream eco-system and how our freshwater streams are an important resource.
